iovSoft MP3 Cutter Joiner is just another MP3 cutting and joining software, neither great, nor disappointing. It just gets its job done, without impressing in any way. If you're looking for a thrilling experience, look elsewhere. If you just need some MP3 files cut or joined together, then it might be worth a try.
For such a simple tool, the fact that it needs to be installed might be a bit annoying. But anyway, the installation is fast and clean, so there's no need to worry too much about this part. The interface is rather simple and straightforward. Every button is where you would expect it to be, and there's nothing complicated about this program. Unfortunately, you'd better like the light-blue window, because there are no skins or appearance customization options available.
As its name says, iovSoft MP3 Cutter Joiner can perform two tasks: both split and join MP3 files. Besides MP3 files, it also supports some other common audio formats (but not too many though): WAV, WMA and OGG. It is also quite fast. It managed to merge 2 mp3 files of 8.5 MB and 7.6 MB into one single WMA file in about 9 seconds, with default advanced settings and including the conversion, on an average 3 GHz Pentium Dual-Core computer running Windows 7.
When it comes to reliability, iovSoft MP3 Cutter Joiner passed the test. The output file was flawless.
